Video keeps trying to play on app

@mnhq When I'm scrolling down any of the main root pages - active, specific boards etc - on the app (iphone), a video player pop up opens with a blank clip in. Nothing plays and there's no thumbnail, but I have to press cancel to go back to whatever I was browsing. It's very irritating!

Sorry for the delay here. This sounds pretty annoying so we're looking into this now.

@LolaSparkle , @memyselfi , @otherusername are you all using the iPhone app as well? Can we please also check that you all have the latest version of the site installed? Version 4.4.16 is the one you're after, so please check if you need to update it.

If anyone's able to post a screenshot that would be very helpful - or alternatively you could send it to us at [email protected].

We're really sorry but we haven't managed to replicate this yet.
We're looking into it and will have it sorted ASAP.
Is there any indication as to what the advert could be? Or is it completely blank from beginning to end?

Mine is completely blank and no video actually loads. Next time it does it I'll post a screenshot. It did it a second ago so no doubt it will do it again shortly 🙂

We're going to turn all ads off in about 20 minutes - if it continues after this time, can you let us know? If it does, that will mean it isn't ad related (helps us narrow things down)

other websites can correct these issues within a few hours. is there a reason for the long delays here?

Hi again @SavingsThreads - we're sorry this issue has cropped up for you. What happens when you refresh the page? Is the pop-up still there, or do you have to click back to a previous page to make it disappear?
