Can threads now go on to infinity because one I'm on is currently at 2010 posts?

Hi, there. We think that what's happening is that the post count now includes posts which have been deleted. Can you post a link to the thread with 1010 posts so we can have a look? Many thanks.

Deleted posts do seem to be some of the cause.
We've identified the issue with counting and will release a fix for this shortly. Thanks for flagging it!
