PLEASE stop refreshing the page!

Oh dear God, can the site please stop doing a complete refresh every time I hit the back button???

Everything is in a different order every time I go back and I have to scroll to the top and start again.

MNHQ - any chance that this is going to be fixed?

Me too! Then the page goes white and posts disappear! I lose what im reading if it’s a big thread!
update to make site better has caused even more problems.

Maybe this unusable new site is just a way to clear out all the old posters who were clogging up the place.

Aaaaaaargh. Thank God for this thread. I couldn't work out why I was having trouble navigating & re-finding threads in active.

My poor cognition (neuro condition) means I get easily confused & I assumed my inflammation was on the increase again. But no, it's just the new Mumsnet

I'm not here much now as it's too stressful.

I have lost so many posts to the constant refreshing.

Is it me or is it worse today? Every time I use the back button the whole site just "hangs" before slowly loading. I'm fine on other sites.

So pleased to hear this should be sorted soon, it’s incredibly annoying. No idea why anyone would think this would be an improvement!

it's still horrible to use. It's refreshing all the time.

I hate it too, and have ended up killing time/finding out info from Twitter much, much more than MN since the change, largely because of the stupid annoying constant refreshing problem? Did MN make a corporate decision to try and reduce the number of active site users? Because I really can’t understand why on earth this unwanted, unasked for, and unpopular change was implemented. Please sort it, I miss MN and keep checking in to see if it’s sorted yet, but it isn’t - I just can’t put up with the endless refreshing and am clearly not the only one.

Thanks @ImaniMumsnet - really hope a solution is in place quickly, I <3 MN but it’s so hard to use since the renovation works. I’ll keep trying, but it’s like the site doesn’t want to be used any more!

Still driving me mad, constantly refreshing every time I use the back button. It's like a whole new page of threads have appeared each time.

This is still driving me crazy, hope mumsnet sort it soon as makes the site so much less enjoyable 🙁
