PLEASE stop refreshing the page!

Oh dear God, can the site please stop doing a complete refresh every time I hit the back button???

Everything is in a different order every time I go back and I have to scroll to the top and start again.

MNHQ - any chance that this is going to be fixed?

I agree. I used to like using active, clicked a link and went back to same list after reading the thread. Now I have to scan through the active list and open everything I'm interested in reading, in a new tab so I don't lose them! Please change it back to how it was.

Yes, it’s crap. Nothing about this update is good.
i’ve stopping coming back as much now as i just can’t deal with it.
nothing works since the update, this page constantly crashes now when i try to use it.
it’s just not worth it.

When i scroll down the page posts disappear too, the page freezes, crashes, this is is on my phone too!
nothing has been fixed.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! I've complained about this too, it's very frustrating! I have to open the post in a separate tab so that I can go back to the main tab without refreshing and sometimes I forget and it pisses me off. LOL I hope they fix this.

Trouble is, since they have made all the changes, you can no longer 'refresh' a thread you might have had open for several minutes when you get to it.

You used to be able to do this until all the annoying changes, but they have now hidden the refresh button. So if you have a few tabs open, it can be quite out of date when you go to post.

You can use the refresh button in your browser. I've always done that. I didn't even know old Mumsnet had a refresh button until people pointed out it's disappeared!

It's awful. I also get the page refreshing while I'm reading a thread or writing a reply. It's so annoying to have nearly finished writing and suddenly whoosh, it's all gone.

the constant refreshing is making mumsnet not enjoyable to use and I'm not on here as much since the update, and when I am on here I'm not enjoying it. I'm persevering because I hope I'll either get used to it or they will fix it but neither have happened so far.

Definitely and it keeps highlighting posts I've read as though there's new comments when there isn't so if I want to read updates I have to check every post.
