Are you supposed to scroll up and down the lines to see who has written each quoted post?

I love the nested quotes! Lots of us have wanted this feature for ages. It makes things much easier to follow on long threads where there's a few different conversations going on.

Your definition of easier to follow is clearly not the same as mine

When it gets to the extreme of one word per line and you haveto keep scrolling up and down to see who posted what it's the very opposite of easy to follow imo

If you s roll fast enough it's like one of those flick books!

I currently have to scroll both sideways and vertically to read the threads.

That would have been my choice as well.

I also preferred the boxed quotation with the name above. I know that's cosmetic, I just don't like the lines much — your eye jumps straight to them because they're vertical unlike the rest of the text.

I really like the quotes - makes it so much easier/quicker to both tag someone and respond to their specific post in a thread without having to faff about copy pasting. Also makes it easier to read a thread when people are responding to each other you can easily see what post they are replying to. I won't read an AMA thread where the OP hasn't used quotes, too annoying!

It's certainly easier than scrolling back and forward through god knows how many pages to be able to follow what two people are arguing about on a massive thread. 😁

The excessive nesting option is annoying. I'll stick to old style copy and pasting parts of posts.

It's going to get confusing if the app users can't see it and won't know someone is referring to their post.
