I like that when you start a thread you can choose any of your previously registered usernames. I like that you can choose which topic it goes in. I like that it is really easy to
swap between different ways of adding emphasis.

All mentioned above plus it looks clearer somehow. I'm not scrolling much more than I used to.

I don't understand why so many posters dislike the new layout. Unless you log in on desktop/laptop (that does look a bit weird), I don't think it's changed that much.

I've gotten use to it already.

I really like the new interface too. It's cleaner but recognisable as MN and is faster.

I like that it skips to latest bookmark when I open threads I'm watching. That's so much better than trying to find where I was. ^^

I could do all that you mentioned in the OP on the old site. But then I was around before they had buttons for emojis etc, and you had to wrap links with [[ each end, so it was normal for me.

I hate the new platform in its entirety and the rendering of the emojis is really poor, too.

Britney I did wonder if it depends on how you access MN. I use Chrome on Android and the changes have been positive.

Why does my app seem to be exactly the same as before 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don't have to click on the drop-down 10 times before it will tag someone in a thread, it just does it!

The change isn’t really bothering me too much. I have found that in ‘I’m on’ I’ve got loads of old threads that I haven’t posted on in weeks! Didn’t they used to disappear after 3 days? I preferred it that way.

I really like it. I find it much clearer and more user friendly! 😍

Use a hyphen at the start of a line and space afterwards.

Nothing positive, I'm on samsung android and its shit. And why does it keep logging me out ffs, im constantly having to log back it. should have left well enough alone, if it ain't broke don't fix it and all that it's really shit now I've not been on MN as much cos of it.

I like the update too and had no problems with all three of my devices 👍.

I also love this feature and use that quick link from threads in ‘I’m on’ too. 👍
