@MNHQ I have never had this enabled and have never received an e mail to notify me I have been mentioned on a thread previously. So why did I get one today? I have disabled the option now but why was it enabled, and not by me, in the first place?

Hi @ApolloandDaphne, thanks very much for sending the screenshot over. We're still looking into this but it seems to have been a temporary glitch and we're sorry for any annoyance this has caused.
We've added an @ to this post just to check whether you get a notification, but hopefully now you've opted out you won't be disturbed.
@deadlanguage - we're also testing if you receive a notification email. If we don't hear back from either of you, we'll assume your notifications are still set to 'off'.
