Hi - we're still on the old one I'm afraid. We weren't happy with the speed of the new site when we launched overnight so we're back to the old one for now.

I can’t get on via Safari. This in via the Google app. Bloody pain in the backside *@JustineMumsnet*. Taken since 6am to get on the site. No idea where I am tbh!
Can you clear your cookies Yellow? That should fix things. Sorry for the pain!

Not yet cos we're going to do some more testing of performance. We'd obviously tested some big loads (more than peak traffic) but the test wasn't live users which is obviously a different matter. Will keep you posted.

I couldn't access on the app this morning but logged in on safari, on my phone, and I'm now able to use the app. So there's a suspension of the launch? I had worried there'd been a cyber attack.
Yes we reverted to the old site at 6.50 this am because we weren't happy with the speed of the new one when more users came on. We'll do some more simulated testing and iron that out before trying again. Will let you know when. Not a cyber attack.

It was a nightmare earlier, nothing loading, crashing etc on android phone browser. I opened a picture in a post and there was no way to close the picture again which isn’t normally an issue,

Is it essential to remove the cookies - I’m finding that all a bit too complicated (Yes, I’m a technoramus ☹️) - or is this just a temporary blip?

I also kept getting those beta messages earlier and wondered what the hell I’d done wrong.

Hey we've put a fix in for this but it might take a little time (an hour or so) - meantime try opening a new tab or if you know how to use incognito mode that should work (but realise this might be challenging too!). Very sorry for the trouble Flowers.

No, no codes needed. We're still on the old platform, but when we move the new you'll just need to login again. That's unlikely to be for a few days now, as we've some more performance testing to do. We'll let users know before we try again.

@Pavlova31 we had to roll the site back to the old version around that time so there were probably issues.

The majority of the site is back to how it was now - if you try clearing cookies or using an incognito browser then things should be working.

For those concerned about losing your Wordle streak from clearing cookies, you can clear the cookies for Mumsnet only. Please see this site for instructions. So sorry you lost your streak @PriamFarrl.

@FlibbertyGiblets you'll still have access to the mobile site and there are options to show different numbers of posts on a thread according to preference, including 'show all' which is 1000 posts.

@MaizeAmaze @SelkieSeal when you clear cookies does it also clear cache?

We think what's happening is that the new URL has cached (saved) itself to your browser so it's trying to direct you to the wrong URL when you go to www.mumsnet.com/Talk/active-conversations

Clearing cache should fix it
