Why do I keep getting this “Enjoying this thread? Why not add it to your watch list” message every time I move on to a new page of a thread that I haven’t posted on?

It’s bloody annoying that when I’m starting to read a thread that’s 20 pages long this nonsense message pops up every time I move on to a new page.

Lots of threads I just want to skip through and not engage with, so I really don’t want to add to a watch list. Stop asking me please.

If you really must, perhaps different wording and ONCE per thread...

(but don't... just get rid)

I didn't get it, but I assume that's because I see the thread as a whole thing, no pages.

Becky, if it's for advertising revenue than selecting a few topics would be understandable, but NOT for bereavement, terminal illness, pregnancy decisions etc.

What exactly do you need to review @YetAnotherBeckyMumsnet?

Nobody wants it as, at best, it is irritating on general threads and ,at worst, it is shockingly insensitive and inappropriately worded for more sensitive topics.

If anything needs "apols" it's those who have been upset by it on topics regarding bereavement, terminal illness etc.

Christ. It's Saturday night. Go have a beer or something.
