Black sections over text. Advert?

I am getting this repeatedly and can't find a way to get rid. Across all topics and doesn't disappear with a refresh.

Still happening mumsnet, any updates? I cant get a single thread up without the big black rotate your screen ad covering it!

I’m getting this using safari on an iPad. It’s really annoying.

It’s back this morning, huge WhatsApp ad right over the OP and first posts so unable to read any new threads.

Yep, I'm getting it on chrome on ipad. Bloody ridiculous. Sort it out. No way in hell I'm rotating my device for some dick advert.

We're so sorry that these black boxes and adverts are still causing problems. We've been working to block those that we can and hopefully some of you will notice a difference now.

If anyone's still seeing either the misplaced adverts or the black box, can you please let us know.

It helps enormously if you can post a screenshot (as several of you already have - thank you!), and if you also grab the URL, as well as letting us know the device and browser you're using and if it's the app, which version?

This is what I get. Completely blocking the OP and first few posts. When I scroll down I just get later posts

This is still happening- chrome on ipad. Mumsnet is the only website I use which seems to constantly have issues rendering it unusable. Is there nothing that can be done?

It went away yesterday afternoon but using chrome on my i pad again this morning and the big black rotate your screen is popping up on every thread blocking the first post.

Back again today. As mentioned previously disability means I can’t rotate my screen. Now showing lower on the screen as well as top (I’d been looking for posts that refer to OP so I could read it). Ipad, safari.

@WeeWeeWeeeee and @mantlepiece, can we please ask if you're able to scroll past the window? You shouldn't have to rotate your screen to be able to scroll past it, so we just need to check if that's the case.

You can scroll past it, but I’m losing the opening post and at least the second one.

I’m on chrome using an iPad btw.

I don't want to jinx anything, but mine is okay now, and has been over the weekend. It was just Friday for me (on a laptop, on chrome)

I mentioned being physically unable to rotate my device as I wondered if doing so might mean I was able to click away from the advert.

It seems to have got worse today - on website accessing via iPad.

Virtually every screen today.

I am having the same problem with the WhatsApp advert.
I note that you said you were trying to fix it on 25/11 - it’s December tomorrow & it’s still happening!!!
