I am disproportionately upset that I missed it. It just confirms what a shitty day (week/year/etc) I’ve had, when I miss out on unicorns, trolls and poetry.

And Mornington Crescent. But there’s no reason we can’t have all that on this thread too.

I agree, it was ridiculous to delete it as it was lovely. Happy and funny and exactly what Mumsnet is. Or used to be. There was nothing offensive about it and the OP only posted twice, stating his own opinion.

I don't see why it made a difference whether he was trying to start a barney or if he was a troll. He didn't manage it.

There were. Many. There was everything.

In a acorn shell what happened was, a poster started a thread with 'trans rights are equal rights'

The thread them immediately filled up with sayings and quotes. Such as

The heffalump ate my honey. Well actually, I did, but it made me do it.

It was lovely.

It was also quite nostalgic. Many of the posts took me back to happy times.
