Intrusive video adverts

Is anyone else having problems with the Johnsons baby advert? It's embedded so every few scrolls down a thread this same starts playing its loud intrusive music. It's a tiny button to press pause or mute and that only seems to work for a few times before you have to listen to the whole damn thing. I don't want to have my phone on silent so why should I have to listen to it over and over again?

Anyone else experiencing this? It only seems to be the Johnsons advert. It can start playing up to 3-4 times in a single page of a thread.

I'm getting constant repetitive cooking video ads on all bloody pages on the website.

I'm getting this embedded in different posters posts.
It looks like they're spamming threads.
It's the second time MNHQ have done this.

They need to be removed, it's not fair as people get accused of spamming threads when they're not. They also make using the site even more difficult for those of use who have light sensitive conditions and have devices set up not to allow automatic playing of videos for this reason; though they are playing. It costs a lot to have videos playing whilst trying to read a thread on mobile internet. My wifi is also very patchy and expensive to be wasting like this.

I thought premium meant this wasn't going to go ahead?

I got it before it all began running. It wasn't posted by this poster. I also saw it elsewhere but no idea where. Sorry. Hope it helps.

Me to OYBBK. I took this screenshot earlier. Same advert, I'm sure @MNHQ said they'd sorted it a few months ago but it's back.

Hu, yes this is still an annoying problem. No other advertisers seem to be using the intrusive video approach so it's just the Johnsons advert.

Yeah, I'm getting Ami &Co and their ghastly weaning food again too. It's very intrusive. Drains battery life very quickly.

This is still happening MNHQ, will you PLEASE stop doing it? I'm on mobile internet and it's becoming too expensive to read here.
