Has Mumsnet ever considered a re-vamp?

Have the powers-that-be ever considered a major overhaul of the site? It has so much potential, but it has one of the most problematic set-ups of any chat forum I've ever encountered - in the table of contents, in the forums that exists (or don't), in the way messages are posted, etc.

About the only thing I'd like to see changed is the introduction of a 'poll' function. This might - maybe - stop people using the vote function this way so you'd no longer have to see YABU - this this this something else this YANBU - something else that or that or whatever

Oh that would be great. Sick of AIBU 'polls'. I am sure a lot of posters just click YABU for doing it.

I used to do that *Sparklingbrook' until I realised the futility of it because I was 'voting' for whatever dumb option it was they specified!

@TheRavenNevermore. I would never take any notice of the results of an AIBU poll, it proves nothing.

I’d like to be able to make a comment under the actual post I’m commenting on. At the moment if you comment it can be pages away from the initial post and unless you read every page you run the risk of repeating something that’s already been said.

The Search NEEDS to be sorted it's utterly dreadful. Even just the option to filter by most recent!

If I could make 3 changes;
I'd make the date on the post in the same size font as the username, to make it easier to spot a zombie thread.
I'd set a character limit on the initial OP post, the one that gets repeated on each page.
I'd add an edit function, with the fact the post has been edited made clear on the post.
