A suggestion re thread pinning

How about making it possible for us (via customise active convos) to pin a limited number of threads ourselves? And Mumsnet Towers would only pin threads that you considered of general importance, without necessarily allowing us to be able to unpin those threads, so that important info could be broadcast.

Also, could we have a line under, or box around, pinned threads? Just to visualy separate them so that it is easier to keep an eye on what's happening at the real top of active convos.

ROFL at mooncups - bit sink plungery though. How about one with the stem cut off (much comfier)?

I started a new thread becaus e the other was getting too long to pick out the suggestions from the chat. Presumably, working on MN, Tech is unblushable - otherwise having mooncups at the top is going to frighten him away from this one!

I'm not suggesting 100s of pinned stuff (hence 'limited number'). I'm not interested in BOTM, but if I block pinned threads then I miss Tech's thread re the changes and it gets too big before I keep up with it and I miss the suggestions. Etc.

Sorry to be a saddo, but I like the pin icon. Could be a bit smaller.
