yes I want to feel like I am part of the NEW IMPROVED AND LEMON SCENTED! mumsnet although really it just hurts my eyes

FrannyandZooey · 30/10/2007 20:56

I had forgotten there WAS a new MN, tbh

DumbledoresGirl · 30/10/2007 20:58

I am just trying out the pale blue Mumsnet version and boy is it hard to read! There is not enough contrast between colours. It looks like my screen sometimes looks like when the lead is not properly in and the colour definition goes.

I don't care what the old Mumsnet is called. Classic is fine by me, just so long as there is the option.

moondog · 30/10/2007 20:59

Unknown, I dispute their status as the dreaded PNs.They are authentic 'efnick' fayre as recommended by Korean bil whatever she says.

Congratulations F&Z. Saw your thread. Wonderful news!!! XXXX

Mumsnet for the workplace (wtf?) is even worse. There is no line between the name of the previous poster and the next post. Very confusing.

Bring me my slippers and Horlicks.

I have reverted back to MN classic too. Sounds like I shop in C&A or summat and wear classic cut slacks.

But sometimes if you are not logged in it reverts to the new MN so sometimes I read threads from teh top, tehn the bottom, it really is confusing.

morningpaper · 30/10/2007 21:05

yes perhaps it should be called "Elasticated waist Mumsnet"

JustscreamMumsnet · 30/10/2007 21:11

Ahem:
From Roget's New Millennium? Thesaurus - Main Entry: classic
Part of Speech: adjective 1

Definition: best
Synonyms: archetypal, capital, champion, classical, consummate, definitive, distinguished, esthetic, excellent, exemplary, famous, fine, finest, first-rate, flawless, ideal, master, masterly, model, paradigmatic, paramount, perfect, prime, quintessential, ranking, standard, superior, top, top-notch, well-known

Or, alternatively, according to Mnetters on this thread, offensive...

[Is there no pleasing some emoticon]

BeetrootMNRoyalty · 30/10/2007 21:12

Marks and Spencer classic

WideWebWitch · 30/10/2007 21:21

lol at this thread
moondog, I was mildly pissed and it was a full moon when I discovered the change and I charged around the board shouting and sobbing.

But I am used to it now, I have changed it so I read threads in the same way I always did, i.e. all the way down, I ignore all the old shite I'm not interested in (sleep, nappies etc) and it's absolutely fine. In fact, you miss a lot of the tossers if you ignore certain topics

Surely not re Pot Noodles, please tell us it's not true?

Heathcliffscathy · 30/10/2007 21:22

WWW....have you forgiven me?

motherinferior · 30/10/2007 21:26

I like Consummate Mumsnet. It sounds both classy and sleazy. Or perhaps that's just me.

BeetrootMNRoyalty · 30/10/2007 21:26

WideWebWitch · 30/10/2007 21:27
