Adverts on desktop site too big

This issue only started today for me, but the adverts surrounding the page are so big it makes reading mn really small.
I not sure if I explaining this right so I did a screenshot for you

It's a clearly been sold as an advertising format

Yeah it really doesn’t appear to be a mistake - I cannot do mumsnet on desktop because the advertising is horribly intrusive.

It’s so obviously designed this way and it’s massively irritating. I’m still getting it on my tablet and it makes the main screen so teeny tiny. Trying to zoom in doesn’t always work as the ad fights for space.

That and the little videos you’re forced to watch millions of time drive me insane. Mobile view is fine.

I got visa advert today! I like the variety a bit more than just the one I was getting but It does make using mn very hard work sorry to keep moaning about it

ocelot yes about the ad fighting you when you try zooming in! It will not let me make the actual mn bit bigger so I can see it!

This is still happening for me. Less often admittedly but it’s still there

I have not had it for a while so hope maybe it fixed 🤞

Still happening sporadically for me but nowhere near as much as it was. Not today though I think ?
