Dear Mumsnet Towers, please can we keep our 'threads I'm on' for more than 3 days?

I often 'lose' all my conversations because I go to work for 3 nights and when I get back onto MN on the 4th night, they're all gone! and I don't know how so-and-so got on and what happened with this that and the other and the other day, the top I agreed to buy was sold to someone else (they waited long enough for me but I didn't get the message) even 5 days would be good.....any chance?

Hi there all, we are just working on customisable talk stuff, so we'll make it so you can choose how many days your threads I'm on lives for.... actually why am i posting, that is pretty much exactly what justine said....

Tinker we weren't ignoring you, honest. we been storing up lists of requested improvements for ages. It's just that we are only just doing them (at least I should be doing them). I'll look at upping the limit. It should be simple enough to make it configurable.
