Does anyone constantly have this problem with the app?

I've used the app for years, I constantly get this message (will include pic)

It's really annoying! Is it just me?

It's happened over all my devices, for years. Why is it so crap? It happens mainly when I search for a thread. My internet and everything is fine, my phone works perfectly.

Does anyone constantly have this problem with the app?

Hi again @midwifeyNC, 9/10 times sounds a bit much to put up with!

We'll try to work out what's going wrong here. Can you let us know what version of iOS you're using and what version of the app you're on? You can check the app version by opening the menu and the version number is at the bottom.

Once we've heard back from you we'll flag the details over to our Tech team. In the meantime, we're sorry!

Right, @midwifeyNC, we've had an answer back from our Tech team.

It's not terrific news, we're afraid, as you're going to have to put up with this for a few more weeks, but a fix is in the pipeline. Smile This is an ongoing issue, unfortunately - the Tech team are aware of the problems with Search and are rebuilding it.

We'll update again as soon as we have more news, so please bear with us.

@dementedpixie - yours is a different issue, as it's the android app. The Tech team have asked if you can please log out and then back in again as that may help. (yes, really!) Smile

Unfortunately a fix for the android app will be much further down the line. If this problem is causing a lot of annoyance, it may be worth temporarily switching over to the mobile (web) version of the site.

Sorry that's the best we can do for now!

Ha ha that did actually work Grin. Did have to try a few times with the password though as its a long time since I've needed to log in but got there in the end. Thanks
