I am disproportionately excited seeing as I probably wont use it.

But WOO-HOO anyway!!!!

Good isn't it

MarosaParks · 13/09/2007 00:34
Grin
WaldenYapp · 13/09/2007 00:36

So, if MNHQ puts a no button for every topic, what will people read ?

MrsMarvel · 13/09/2007 00:36

See, MN do listen!
I do wish they would get rid of the "include special needs" button. If not I want a historical explanation of why special needs should be excluded.

WaldenYapp · 13/09/2007 00:37

Perhaps we should add a 'block this poster from my view so I don't have to see theirs' button as well

CheGueviley · 13/09/2007 00:38

Peraps they should add a 'Disallow WaldenYapp from using the ' button?

OP posts:
WaldenYapp · 13/09/2007 00:40

Perhaps they should. So you will not be able to see my posts. That would be better obviously.

CheGueviley · 13/09/2007 00:41

What?
Is there something wrong with your posts that we should know about?

OP posts:
WaldenYapp · 13/09/2007 00:43

Absolutely not, AFAIK. I just find it bewildering that 'without .....' boxes are popping up every time there is a row.

CheGueviley · 13/09/2007 00:44

Fantastic - 4 rows in 7 years.

OP posts:
WaldenYapp · 13/09/2007 00:47

Actually you will find that the boxes have popped up in the last 2 years, actually maybe even less than that. But I don't want to argue with you in particular as it is not that important in the grand scheme of things

CheGueviley · 13/09/2007 01:29

To be fair, arguing with me is fairly important in the grand scheme of things. But pleased you dont want to all the same.

there's a good reason for the 'include special needs' box, but i can't remember what it is. anyway it was requested by the parents who frequent the sn boards

LieselVentouse · 13/09/2007 07:33

An "In the news" thread turned into a row??? Why???

TnOgu · 13/09/2007 07:40

LV -how are ye?

How's Catriona?

Trinityrhino · 13/09/2007 07:55

something about maddy and the fact that not everyone wants it stuffed in their face when they log on.........but I may be wrong

LieselVentouse · 13/09/2007 08:30

tnog my sweet, i was looking for you cause i didnt think i had spoken to you since i had her. she is fine, feeding at the moment - hence the bad typing

LieselVentouse · 13/09/2007 08:30

how can people get so touchy - its main news at the moment so why not discuss

TnOgu · 13/09/2007 08:33

< Good to hear, LV.

I think of you often. >

dustystar · 13/09/2007 08:34

The special needs thing came up because there were quite a few occasions where people piled onto a SN thread and were very critical and hurtful to some of the parents on the SN board. It was felt that some of these paople may not have noticed that they were posting on a SN thread - thus the 'include SN' button.

CheGueviley · 13/09/2007 08:50

Really Dustystar?
I wondered about that too. Thanks.

(BTW, There was no row )

OP posts:
lou33 · 13/09/2007 08:54

yes, dusty is right

i like the sn option

saggarmakersbottomknocker · 13/09/2007 09:02

I like In the News but need a 'without tabloid gossip' tickbox.

And whilst we're on the subject when the 'Christmas' topic comes online I want a 'without Christmas' tickbox please. Bah humbug.

lou33 · 13/09/2007 09:03

oh yes please about xmas, the thought of it makes my chest hurt

Skribble · 13/09/2007 09:08

When I first started on here I remember naively stumbling onto a special needs thread oblivious to what it was all about,
