Scrolling slow at peak times

Anyone else noticed this?

I'm on iPhone using app (when I can, ALSO still having problems especially at peak times of slow loading "you don't have internet" messages)

From about 8pm to midnightish last few nights scrolling through long threads or list of threads on active threads it's "Juddering" and occasionally freezing.

Thought it was phone at first And I do have a bad habit of leaving loads of apps open and loads of pages on safari but I closed loads and it was still happening but scrolling on safari and other apps is fine and smooth and speedy.

Needing to upgrade servers mnhq?

Happening to me too at all times. Juddering scrolling and lag when typing. Using iPhone app.

Makes it mostly unusable.

Me too, not all the time but very annoying when it does happen.

IPhone 6, typing was awful yesterday when posting, back to more or less normal now.

It's currently happening to me.

Impossible thus evening with each letter taking 5 seconds or so to come up. Please sort it out.iphone with app

This is still happening for me - scrolling goes laggy mid-thread.

We're really sorry about this - we've given it a nudge, can those on the thread previously confirm this is still happening and if so, is anybody able to capture this on video for us? It'd help us greatly.

Hi guys, thanks for the heads up - I'm going to look into this today.

To help me out, could you list:

1. The type of iPhone/iPad you have and
2. The version of iOS you have?

On all the devices I have, it's not showing any lag when scrolling through posts or typing. Was the delay on all threads or just a few? Was it slow loading more posts (showing the spinner for a time) or just 'jittery' as you scroll?

It helps me figure out where we've added a bug that messes with the performance. Thank you for your patience!

I have an iPhone XR. Not sure of the IOS, but whatever the latest one is.

I haven't had the problem for the last couple of days, but "jittery" is the right word - it's sort of jerky as you scroll down and is frustrating and makes me feel a bit seasick too! Like I said, it's been OK for the last couple of days, but it does seem to be an intermittent problem. No spinner or slow loading, just juddery when scrolling through posts.

I'm having problems with typing. Very slow and is taking a while for the display to catch up.
It is also very jittery when scrolling through threads.

My phone is an iPhone 8 Plus and iOS 13.5.1. Using the app.

I have video but I can't see how to attach it - only photos @TimMumsnet. Any advice?

We've flagged the issues to our app developers now - we'll hopefully have this sorted soon.

This had got better but is doing it again this evening.

It seems to start around 12pm

Ok it's impossible to use now
