And not forgetting claims to Prince Andrew being a paedophile and the baby needing to be kept away from him every now and again.
I feel a new MN Bingo game coming on.

PortiaCastis · 10/01/2020 08:56

Any Brexit threads are quickly swept into the Brexit topic so why aren't the Prince Harry threads swept into the Royal family topic or is it just that bitchin gets the clicksin

IfThingsComeInThreesWhyThisNow · 10/01/2020 09:29

I can't beat 'em, I might as well join 'em. The Guardian was even at it at stupid o'clock - all ten of their most widely read across the Guardian were Harry related. Now it's back to two. Can you imagine when the Queen finally corks it?

Sparklingbrook · 10/01/2020 09:40

The MN vultures were circling a few weeks ago when Prince Phillip was in hospital. 🙄

Pinkywoo · 10/01/2020 10:05

Could I please apply for the job of thread police? I could have a special hat and move people on, "nothing to see here, off you trot to the royal family topic". Wink

Samcro · 10/01/2020 10:22

maybe we just need to post loads of links to the topic on these threads.

Theworldisfullofgs · 10/01/2020 11:11

PortiaCastis exactly

katzenellenbogen · 10/01/2020 14:02

lostsoulsunited · 12/01/2020 20:53

There's always the option to hide a thread too

I've probably got more hidden threads than threads I'm on right now, it's ridiculous

ListeningQuietly · 12/01/2020 20:58

Brexit threads get moved to that board.

Royal Family threads should be moved to that board

Money threads should be moved to that board

Relationships threads should be moved to that board

Education threads should be moved to that board

MmeBufo · 12/01/2020 21:10

IIRC royal wedding threads and royal baby threads were moved to royal family. Pretty rigorously too.

MN policy is MNHQs business. There doesn’t seem to be a policy though, it’s all totally inconsistent.

SyntheticPumpkin · 12/01/2020 21:36

This is getting beyond ridiculous now. I thought it would have died down but the thread still are still bloody going. Please move them somewhere where the entire topic can be hidden.

MmeBufo · 12/01/2020 21:41

Yy topics (and Hide Topic) weren’t something users implemented

FuckeryOmbudsman · 13/01/2020 07:44

@mnhq

Any further thoughts, in light of the continuing comments on this thread? And the continuing appearance of ever more threads?

Equanimitas · 13/01/2020 07:47

The thing is, MN is too scared to move the trans threads to the feminist board, so they've rather tied their own hands in terms of moving anything else

IlsSortLaPlupartAuNuitMostly · 13/01/2020 07:56

In the interests of pedantry, repeated threads about the same subject aren’t the same as TAATs, which require that the thread itself is being discussed. But apart from that, yeah, MNHQ should get a big old Thread Police Broom and sweep them all off to Royal Family like they did with Brexit.

EdithWeston · 13/01/2020 08:12

They have no difficulty in moving Brexit threads, in moving Royal threads in the past, in moving Ebola threads back when. And there are other examples too (they used to move threads from main pregnancy topic to the appropriate subtopics, so that it was actually about pregnancy, not any subject)

Samcro · 13/01/2020 10:12

what I really don't get is how the absolutely vile stuff is left up.
how can it be in the spirit to leave up countless threads slagging of a mother(for some reason a site mainly full of women. only see the woman at fault)
