Hi all, it's been suggested to us - and we think it's a really good idea - to set up a topic within the mind, body and soul umbrella to cover all aspects of depression. This will include PMT/PND/bi-polar etc etc. We're a bit unsure what to call the thread and were wondering whether you guys can give us some suggestions. Will let you know once it's up and running.

I was a lot worse with the girls than the boys. It wore off at about 14 weeks with the boys. I had the pills for all four pg's and I wan'st actually being sick for all of them. BUt i would say it was a last resort.

lou33 · 18/09/2004 00:51

I was the same
turning over in my sleep would start me feeling like death

MUMINAMILLION · 18/09/2004 00:52

Oh dg - sweet memories. I was always lighter at the end of my pregnancies than when I started!! I think I had a course of 8 acupuncture sessions. Its definately worth looking into. It also helped me sleep.

DelGirl · 18/09/2004 00:52

yeah, I have nothing against pills and potions at all, for anything, just want to try au naturalle for this baby if I possibly can but it does mean i'm eating alot.

MUMINAMILLION · 18/09/2004 00:53

Lou, Ive heard a lot of people say its worse with girls than boys. I had 4 girls and was sick with them all. And when someone says it is a sign of a healthy pregnancy, dont you want to slap them?

lou33 · 18/09/2004 00:54

I couldnt eat for weeks

DelGirl · 18/09/2004 00:54

i'm not putting on too much weight though, thankfully, The baby must be using up all the calories cos i'm certainly not burning it off as I have no energy at all.

lou33 · 18/09/2004 00:54

yes completely.

More than slap them.

MUMINAMILLION · 18/09/2004 00:56

Where is all the 'blooming' thats meant to go on in pregnancy? Mine was just 'bloomin awful'.

DelGirl · 18/09/2004 00:57

I've heard it's worse with girls too, though some will say boys. A few people think I will have a girl and a few say a boy. I always thought I'd have a boy but I really have no thoughts either way at the moment and I really don't mind either as long as it's healthy. I've also heard m/s is the sign of a healthy pregnancy too but surprisingly at this moment in time it doesnt help the m/s

lou33 · 18/09/2004 00:58

I went from feeling like death warmed up, to feeling like a whale
i didnt get the blooming inbetween stage ever.

lou33 · 18/09/2004 00:58

Chances are you will have one or the other dg

I have to go to bed now.

See you tomorrow

DelGirl · 18/09/2004 00:59

I reckon you 'bloom' in the 2nd trimester, or think you do cos you felt so bl**dy awful in the 1st so anything better must be a bonus mustn't it.

We'll now have to call this thread the m/s thread or 'Miserable as Sin' waddya reckon?

DelGirl · 18/09/2004 01:00

night Lou

MUMINAMILLION · 18/09/2004 01:00

No dg, thats the name for the depression board! Night lou.

DelGirl · 18/09/2004 01:02

That's what I meant....

MUMINAMILLION · 18/09/2004 01:03

MUMINAMILLION · 18/09/2004 01:03

DelGirl · 18/09/2004 01:05
