Iphone app keeps closing

Hi im running version 4.0.9 and the app keeps closing itself. A fix would be appreciated

Me too, only since I updated the app yesterday - I'm really slow to update apps

Are @mnhq aware of the problem?

You could try deleting the app, do a reset, then reinstall it. They may clear out the gremlins. Make sure your iOS software is the latest 12.2

I have deleted/turned on and off/reinstalled/all up to date etc
The problem is clearly the app not everyone's separate phones.
Eating my battery too as others have mentioned - relieved to see my phone isn't just giving up the ghost!

I have the app on my iPhone, and not had any problems.

Hi guys, thanks for raising this. I've looked into the issue, and you're right, since yesterday there has been a large increase in crashes in the Talk iOS app. We haven't made any changes recently, and it appears to be a bug that Apple have been aware of for a while.

I've temporarily suspended some of our adverts incase that was affecting it, but I think it's unlikely at this stage.

It's worse today and I've noticed my phone's battery if drawing quicker than usual when I'm on here.

Flobochin - hmm, that's not the case in the AppStore from my (ageing) iPhone 6.

12.2 is the current version automatically installed on my ageing iPhone 6 ...

My problem of overheating and closing, sometimes freezing is only occurring on this app also

(Whispers) I think mine might have been ok for a few hours now touches all wood in sight

I did name change but I think that's probably just a coincidence rather than some app crashing miracle cure.

Let's hope so. We know what a pita it is so we'll be taking another look to see if there's anything we can do to resolve this.

Hey guys, it appears that the specific crash that started last week has now mostly stopped. I'm not sure where it came from or why it stopped, but I'll keep monitoring the situation. Please let us know if something like this happens again!
