Iphone app keeps closing

Hi im running version 4.0.9 and the app keeps closing itself. A fix would be appreciated

It's crashing for me today too. The app is just randomly closing and it's really annoying.

I'm using the app on the iPhone and it's getting worse, not better. Been on here ten minutes this morning and it's shut down 7 times already! Come on @mumsnethq get it sorted!!

Pretty bad for me today! I also keep getting an advert with a car zooming across the screen. But that could be my fat fingers

Yes this has been happening to me for a few weeks. Using the app drains my battery and makes my phone heat up. It closes at random.
I updated the operating system and all apps but it still happens. Mine is an iPhone Se that I've had for about a year.

Same here - my iPhone is red hot and the battery has dropped from 98% to 79% and all I've done is a bit of scrolling on this site only! It also crashed and kicked me out whilst writing this so I've had to start all over again. I'm off now to let my phone cool down. This has been happening for weeks now (the app crashing) and it's getting really annoying now.

So glad it's just the app, I thought my phone was dying!

Interesting others have had battery/overheating issues too, I didn't realise that could be connected, I thought my phone was on its way out!

I've given up now. Tried to read same thread 6 times.

Update the app, you should be running 4.0.9

Then do a hard reset of your phone.

@Flobochin I'm running 4.0.9 and I've reset my phone and it's made no difference. OP is also running the current version. It's driving me mad!

This has started happening to me too, today. Never had it happen before!

I've not had any problems, how strange.
