could someone explain to me how to do that cross words out the lines going through it thank you

It’s two dashes either side of the word, isn’t it?

Whenever I read posts with half of it crossed out, it infuriates me. Say it or don't say it. Don’t half say it ffs.

My phone seems to change two short dashes into one long one, so the cross out never works.

Not sure if it's different on the full site but on the mobile site,

Click the 'I' button next to the emoji button. Choose the one that looks like hello. And it will put ---- in the message box. Type the text you want crossed out in the middle and it should work.
