Ads with sound

I'm sure it's been done to death but I don't want to have my sound on mute the whole time.

I just jumped out of my skin when an "all things IVF" ad started playing, can't remember what board I was on but it was nothing to do with pregnancy! I'm on an HP laptop on Google Chrome, can you please double check so that it doesn't happen again? Thanks

Sorry this is still causing jumping-out-of-skin situations. We'll get back to you with an update as soon as we've got to the bottom of this. Just to check - when it happens does it happen on all the video ads or just one in particular?

Hi @BertieBotts - we've just fixed the issue with video autoplaying with sound. Apologies for that!

That has nothing to do with noisy adverts though, so we're still investigating that.
