Repeated pop up attempts

Today, while browsing MN, I have had repeated warnings that the site is attempting to open a pop up window.

I’ve never had this before - what’s changed? Is it legit? I’ve blocked each pop up attempt, so no idea what it is trying to open, or why.

(I’m browsing using an iPad mini, on Safari, iOS 11.2ish)

Thanks for letting us know about this, we have hopefully blocked it. But we will continue to investigate. If you do see it again do let us know, and any info on the web address of the advertiser really helps.

Very sorry this is happening again, we have been trying to replicate, and I have blocked the URLs that have been reported. Please, can you let us know if the issue is still happening?

@B00dyM4ry - are you able to take a screen grab of the M&S advert that is causing you the problems? this will help me try and find it.

so the advert is just appearing as a black box? Are you able to grab the web address of the advert when you click the black box?
