I am boycotting threads about the plight of the McCann family - anyone else?

I have the utmost sympathy for the Mccann family, and hope for a happy ending to thier trouble. Meanwhile I am not happy about many aspects of teh many threads, and hearby resolve to completely boycott them. By not clicking, not reading, nor responding (however horrible the views), and thus not adding to the circular and predicatable route they take, no matter what quality of ontervention is made.

Clasp your right hand over your left Nork and repeat the boycott pledge after me!

I do think it's helped enormously

Wotsit · 23/05/2007 18:35

congrats

BeatriceandBenedick · 23/05/2007 18:37

I am so pleased I clasped my nork - I have not been back since and it feels so much better - well done blu!

Kathyis6incheshigh · 23/05/2007 18:38

Thank you, now can we all go and have a terrific reception with champagne, a slap-up meal (at one of the places on my restaurant thread) and funny speeches?

Blu will be guest of honour, of course.

Wotsit · 23/05/2007 18:39

I find this thread has been very helpful to alot of mnetters.
Me included.

Blu · 23/05/2007 18:39

well done everyone!
And yes, so much more energy when not embroiled in nasty point-scoring and one-upmanship.

Can I make some party bags?

Tamum · 23/05/2007 18:40

I should say that I hadn't noticed both hands were on your norks when I put the ring on your finger, do forgive my dreadful manners. Reception sounds good though

Tamum · 23/05/2007 18:41

Please do Wotsit, and some wedding favours?

Wotsit · 23/05/2007 18:43

I have more practice at party bags. Do you think the adults will mind. I was going for Sponge Bob ones.

Tamum · 23/05/2007 18:44

Excellent choice, it will give me and cod another chance to point out that he is called Bob L'Eponge in French.

Blu · 23/05/2007 19:09

We need to lure Peachy back....I need a sheep dog.
Shep! down, shep...

Clasps nork. Quite likes it. Now eating chocolate with left hand as right hand is occupied.

tissy · 25/05/2007 14:05

nork clasping hands at the ready...there's another one!

hercules1 · 25/05/2007 14:13

It's time for me to clasp my hand over my left nork. I also feel the utmost sympathy but hate the views.

Blu · 25/05/2007 14:18

I am away for the w/e and half term - keep up the nork clasping - it's the only way to keep things low key.
Bumping and clasping - keep it up, and well done veryone.

Have a good time Blu- I have a sudden pressing need to bump and clasp. I shouldn't even open the bloody things....

tissy · 26/05/2007 18:46

.

DimpledThighs · 27/05/2007 19:41

Bloody good idea.

I am back from a mini flounce re: the threads mentioned and my heart did sink to see it in active convos but did not go there.

I am not detracting from the terrible plight of this family but I DO NOT wish to be associated in any way with some of the things that have been said on here.
