never made the round up, but my sister has ..does that count?

I made the round up, my sister texted me to tell me, it was a great day, a turning point. After that, fame kind of went to my head, i started gambling, swearing, leering at young men, i've not been the same since. I used the c word once.

What is mp's round up?

I have been mentioned on round up but don't post enough to be recognised
but I do recognise most of the royals

Think there is only one definitive way to cross over from being a newbie to being a....whatever - do something or have something done to you you will be remembered for forever (or at least more than a month). Ie;

cod has her 'wonderful' spelling
pph is 'the office girl'
RTKM is the omnipotent telly guide

etc etc

....alternatively if you're here enough you become part of the furniture and will never appear on any list because you just ARE

visit every day
damn job gets in the way a bit though

I was on MP's roundup once, was embarrassingly chuffed and tried to get DH to be as excited as me. I think you can guess he was not.

I think I've been in the roundup once. I was inordinately pleased too.

People on the feeding-type threads recognise me as the one who... etc etc and I've been mentioned a couple of times when I've not been there. Is it really sad that I would even mention that? Probably - guess I'm still a newbie then.

Huarumph, I don't even know what MP's roundup is or where it is posted.

I've never been in the roundup. I'm never on lists. But I do think I'm known. not royalty though

Springadora - it's an email thing that you can sign up for by going to the My Mumsnet area and changing your settings.

kitty after the threads you have staretd i dont think anyone could consider youa newbie. let me see we have had striptease at the wedding reception, sleeping with your DP's twin, SIL and the child eating dog....and those are just off the top of my head.
