I'm 31 now...and you are being ageist!

Dont you know the law has changed now??????? I'll have you down for discrimination you know.......

I was feeling grumpy, until I read the poo thread.......

thedogsbollox · 12/05/2007 23:05

OOOh no!

Only age counts - not into lentil weaving and mooncups things!

DumbledoresGirl · 12/05/2007 23:06

Not according to your profile you are not. What did you do when you joined MN? Gave a false DOB?

thedogsbollox · 12/05/2007 23:07

Did you read the topic title VVV - grumpy old women.

Since when were grumpy old women ever PC!

You can stay for a while as long as you drop all that youngsters PC nonsense!

Struth DG, I'd qualify for 4 outta 5 so

Am I in then??

DumbledoresGirl · 12/05/2007 23:08

If the cap fits orey, wear it!

thedogsbollox · 12/05/2007 23:08

Ahem - I think you'll find this is my topic. And there are only 2 criteria for entry! Over 40 or >5 years on MN!

Do you make the grade?

OP posts:
VeniVidiVickiQV · 12/05/2007 23:09

Sure thing. Its all a load of bollox anyway

I've changed my profile now.......

So, whats the topic for tonight....?

Blu · 12/05/2007 23:09

Boo!

Was here all along, grumping quietly away behind the curtains.

thedogsbollox · 12/05/2007 23:09

I see Billy Bunter has just won the Eurovision song contest!

OP posts:
DumbledoresGirl · 12/05/2007 23:10

My profile proves I make the grade (and also don't lie about my DOB! )

thedogsbollox · 12/05/2007 23:10

Ooh Hello Blu my sweet - do come and join us

OP posts:
thedogsbollox · 12/05/2007 23:11

DG - my post was to Orey!

I know you've been here a long time!

OP posts:
DumbledoresGirl · 12/05/2007 23:12

Ok topic for tonight: What is Eurovision all about and can we please have some decent Saturday night viewing back? Let's face it, the only people in on Saturday nights are old folk and parents so why have something as puerile as the ESC on?

thedogsbollox · 12/05/2007 23:13

My DS cried because there was no Dr Who!

I nearly joined him!

OP posts:
VeniVidiVickiQV · 12/05/2007 23:14

Well, they dont make music like they used to do they?

Have you noticed - to win ESC the artistes have to either have panpipes in the song, or be wearing fancy dress - or both?

thedogsbollox · 12/05/2007 23:14

I watched it - because I was dumbing down as a precursor to posting on here[lol]

OP posts:
DumbledoresGirl · 12/05/2007 23:15

I have not noticed that VVV mainly because I have not watched Eurovision for about 20 years. But I agree, they do not make music like they used to.

orey · 12/05/2007 23:16

I am one of the two, will that do?

As for the eurovision whatsit, sod that grump grump grump

There was a comedian on another channel (heaven knows what, sky tv and dh switching between so lose track)- a welsh guy but there were subtitles

MUCH more inspiring that EVC

Blu · 12/05/2007 23:16

Well, I can't stop tonight as I am seriously tired. I had a lovely night last night with a v small group of top MN-ers...and then a certain person lured me into a v cool little bar and we were there til....nearly 2 am. And I had to get up at 7. But it was a good night out, with nothing to grump about at all. Though I did notice the occasional difficulty stringing a sentence together as the evening progressed. tut.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 12/05/2007 23:16

Well, I was bereft without Dr Who. I dont like all these new fangled digi-sky channels....full of repeats.

thedogsbollox · 12/05/2007 23:17

Blu - sounds like a top night!

We must get together soon!

OP posts:
orey · 12/05/2007 23:18

vvvqv - agree. Hate it when I am looking forward to a programme and then realise I have already seen it! GRRR

orey · 12/05/2007 23:20

Eeek I haven't killed the thread have I??

Or are you all falling asleep, what with being old and all that? LOL
