No-NC in MumsNetia

paxillin · 06/04/2018 12:37

I know we have discussed this before, more than once. Is it possible to have a no-NC topic please?

It could just be added to MN local as "MumsNetia" or "MumsNet Mountain" and people could chose it as their local page, so no tech wizardry needed.

Why do I have no memory of it at all ?

If you are over 30 its because you are an Elderly Lady.

If you are under 30 its because you are obviously on drugs.

Psst, @paxillin, just popping back in here to say that this request is being considered, but that's about all I can tell you at this stage (so keep your hopes in check for now!)

Have read through all of the old thread by now - thanks for digging it up @BoreOfWhabylon - and blimey there were some blasts from the past on that one. Someone suggested that The Local would be a good name for this (purely-hypothetical-at-this-stage-of-course) fenced-off area of the site. But Regular Scorner also works.

Really just wanted you to know that we haven't forgotten this thread. Smile

Not my suggestion of The Royal Enclosure then, @DawnMumsnet ?

Not my suggestion of The Royal Enclosure then, *@DawnMumsnet* ?

Oh no, I knew I'd end up hacking someone off. Sorry it had to be you, @BoreOfWhabylon! But while your suggestion was obviously brilliant, I did think The Local sounded a bit more, you know, down to earth. Grin

Thank you, Dawn. Royal enclosure is brilliant, but might leave people wondering if they've been here long enough. The Local does sound a little more inclusive.

There needs to be a Terry propping up the bar. There is always a Terry, and he is usually called Terry, too.

You can wear a crown instead, @BoreOfWhabylon.

Grin @paxillin

Perhaps I should be Queen Terry?
