Any chance of being able to collapse threads to show only posts by the OP?

On some of the longer threads which get over run by place markers and troll hunters, it seems to me that it would be useful to just filter to show the OP's posts sometimes.

I have highlight colours switch on for the OP etc, but on a thread running to 800+ posts, it would be nice to just show the 4/5 posts by the OP easily, rather than having to scroll through multiple pages of place marking fun. I know the whole thread can be loaded, but I'm most often on a slightly older device which doesn't like showing longer threads all on one page.

I’d love this too. It’s a great idea. Mostly I want to post, but there are many threads which are long and I’d like to see the outcome only from the op as the thread unfolds.

You've forgotten to mention all the posts from the people complaining about the troll hunters. 😉

Other than that I agree, I'd love just to be able to see the OPs posts. I have them highlighted but sometimes still miss them in long threads.

I would like it to be a toggle up near Watch/Flip/Show All. "Show OP comments only" then the reverse is "Show comments from all users".

We're going to flag this one to our tech team. We can't make any promises on whether it's technically possible (or when we'll have a finalised answer), but we think it's a smashing idea, OP!

I suggested this over a year ago! The answer was no then, hopefully somehow it’s a yes now?!

This would be so useful I spend ages going through threads just trying to find the OP's updates.

So no longer a discussion thread? I can see why, as individual, we like this idea. It means we can ignore all the other posters as only our opinion matters it 's all about me and my opinion. Threads would get very, very random and would have no flow.

Obviously it would be silly to have the option switched on all the time - but it's not a discussion thread when you have to scroll through eleventy billion "placemark" and "hope you are OK op" posts.

I've seen this on other forums and it's AMAZING. Would be a fantastic feature to have.
