Ad site has taken over MN on my phone

fast.adsnewark.com popped up on my phone when I logged into MN. I can't get rid of it, neither can I open a new window in my browser.
I have restarted the phone, no joy.
Anybody had this or can advise how to get rid of it?

Had it 3 times now on chrome using an A3. Cleared cookies, cache and history and ran malware bytes mobile on my phone. STILL getting it after these steps.

To add, because i forgot, it last popped up reading this very thread!

I had the same problem last night using chrome on an s6, seems ok this morning

It won't go away. I never have been a BT user.

Fixed mine by going into settings>application manager>chrome and delete cache.
