Strike through not working on iPhone

iOS 11 which I think is what caused it. When I do a double - it turns into a — which doesn’t work to strike through

I’m sad. I like the strike through.

Ahaaaa I bloody hate it when they make you update - I got a new phone and they wouldn’t let me restore a back up if I didn’t :(

Go into settings/general and turn off "smart punctuation ".

Ilovepixie I only worked it out recently. When you’re writing at the bottom there are: L-R a smiley face, a capital T and a paper clip. Open the T and strike through is one option in there.
