Can we have your permission to run what some might see as an annoying ad please?

Please can we run an ad for Disney for the month of September that expands when you click on it (it's a banner across the top like the Rosabella Gregory one above that expands to 5x the depth when you click) - but it won't be on talk at all and will be capped to once per user per day (if you have cookies enabled)?

What do you think - would you shout at us and bugger off if we did or could you live with it?

If they are paying good money then go for it

tissy · 30/03/2007 12:33

fine by me, I imagine Disney can afford to pay a LOT!

IntergalEGGticWalrus · 30/03/2007 12:33

No probs if it brings in lots of wonga

littleEasterlapin · 30/03/2007 12:34

Sounds fine.

Of course, by September we will all have forgotten and will complain bitterly

Enid · 30/03/2007 12:34

No

you cannot

Tutter · 30/03/2007 12:35

fine

the only ones that piss me off are when they expand when cursor touches (i.e. without a click)

JackieNo · 30/03/2007 12:35

I reckon go for it too (really appreciate being asked, too).

JustineMumsnet · 30/03/2007 12:35

oh better check that rollover vs click thing... thanks for mentioning Tutter

[wonders what saying No would actually achieve - settles down to find out]

choosyfloosy · 30/03/2007 12:37

Ooh Great! Are they doing a competition too?

This isn't part of the marketing campaign is it? Tell them it's working, if so.

FrannyandZooey · 30/03/2007 12:37

Yes I reckon you mean rollover not click

I mean they ALL expand when clicked

the rollover ones are orrible

but if not on talk then I don't care

WideWebWitch · 30/03/2007 12:39

I could live with it but great that it's not on talk.

littleEasterlapin · 30/03/2007 12:41

ugh, rollovers.

but not as bad as those, for want of a better word, floaters

ceolas · 30/03/2007 12:42

Ditto Franny

Hulababy · 30/03/2007 12:43

No problem.

eenybeeny · 30/03/2007 12:44

JustineMumsnet · 30/03/2007 12:50
