Lost the bar at the bottom

The toolbar accross the bottom ... has gone.

I started a thread (this one haha) using the drop down at the top.

I liked the toolbar !
Has it gone forever?
I liked hitting the 'active' button

I hate using desktop on my tablet, much prefer mobile, I hope its sorted soon.

I'm using the app now, it's much easier than desktop but I prefer the mobile version. It may be a case of getting used to it. If anyone is having diffs with desktop I recommend this for short term use. The print is bigger etc and the shortcut icons are there.

installing an app on a device usually allows the creator of the app to harvest data from the device and track the owner of the device so it's in mn's interest to have members use the app rather than a browser

I just downloaded it today as I couldn't see the text on desktop. Your post is making me think I should delete it. I don't like the idea of being tracked.

I'm on desktop site on laptop to post this as having the same problem on my Iphone 6s plus.

The only way I could get the buttons on the bottom back was to keep pressing "back" and eventually I came to a page where the Active, Watching, Add Post, I'm On etc icons were all there.

Oh no, I just tried to post on mobile and it won't let me. That's this month's iphone issue then is it?

we provide all the content for the site and the owner of the site just has to harvest it and sell it to advertisers, we all work for mumsnet for free...arent we generous!

I've just done an update thing on my phone (which I don't understand), so thought I'd broken Mumsnet. Quite relieved to hear it's not just me. Switched to desktop for now.

According to the Internet mumsnet has a 7 million quid turnover and assets of 5.3 million. Please could a little bit more of this be invested in infrastructure? Given MNs original purpose was to help the sanity of Middle class mums on Mat leave, outages like this don't help. Most forcing me to interact with people in real life and that's a bit wierd

The app is also playing up. Taking ages to load when you press on topics.

I shall be deleting the app then!

I can't see the bottom bar any more, or post or click on the middle button on the mobile site. And the desktop site is really irritating on a phone so I'll have to go do something else instead!

This is a trick to get me to write an assignment. It's clearly not working haha.
But anyway like others - lost the bar at the bottom, cannot click any of the icons at the top of the page to get the bottom bar back. Cannot bookmark etc on the drop down box.
Cannot post had to go on the desktop to post.

Same here. Toolbar gone, none of the buttons at the top work and can't post.

Posting to see if the desktop works for me. The mobile site isnt working for me. Hate the desktop version.
