"message poster" has disappeared?

Just noticed in the bar at the top of posts, there is only 'add message' and 'report'.
I checked a TIO that I posted on last night and it still had 'message poster' too.
Refreshed and it disappeared!
Are we not allowed to PM any more?

Or maybe they are going back to the system where you had to pay for private messages. About £5.00 per year it was when I first joined, back in the mists of time!
Maybe they are being a bit hard up.

I've lost it too, on iPad Safari.

I reckon it's purposeful.

Hi all. We're really sorry about the delay on this. And rest assured we have not got rid of the PM function. Tech are looking at this now but yes, it might be Monday at the earliest before it's fixed we're afraid. We will post here as soon as there is any update. Thanks again for your patience. We know it's really annoying and are doing our best to sort it.

As I said, I could understand if you have decided that Pming should require a bit more effort.

I actually think it would be a good idea; it might discourage some of the vitriolic nastiness that's perpetrated through the easy click of a button.
