"message poster" has disappeared?

Just noticed in the bar at the top of posts, there is only 'add message' and 'report'.
I checked a TIO that I posted on last night and it still had 'message poster' too.
Refreshed and it disappeared!
Are we not allowed to PM any more?

Hmm I've never been able to PM anyone, didn't realise I could. I'm in iPhone app, can only bookmark, report or share. No options to PM etc

You can't PM on the app, No, sparkle. You'll need to access the main site on a browser for that. (Or not - at the moment. )

My 'message poster' had disappeared yesterday too and is still missing. My I use Palemoon with windows 7. Has been totally fine until yesterday.

I second BBB, any progress? Or at least an update would be helpful MNHQ.

It would be useful to know whether this is just a glitch or whether it's purposeful in some way.

I can understand if MNHQ want PMing to require a little bit more effort but if that's the case, they should tell us.

I noticed this yesterday, I had to block and copy the username instead

I find its almost impossible to PM unless you have a good memory for usernames. There are people I PM but can't remember their usernames well enough for the system to find them.

(It hasn't reappeared for me either)

Aren't their names in your sent messages? I clear out my in box but rarely remember to clear the sent one.

I'm using Chrome on a Samsung galaxy. Still no message poster.
