Odd pop up and redirection

It happened again just now.
This was in the address bar...

Aaagh just happened again. Not plusnet but "infonet" from memory link same/sim address as posted above. Also on Samsung

Yes, me too - AT&T when I was in the US, and BT when in the UK - and only on Mumsnet. Closing the browser and then opening it again cancels it.

Not just me then! Had intermittently over last week or so & repeatedly over last 12 hrs - to the extent that I currently can't really use MN on my phone (android)

Is it that it's hacked? Or is it that mumsnet gave them permission/were paid lots to have those adverts/ or an advertising agreement gone wrong? As in should we be concerned for the security of the site again?

They look like hacks. The pop ups identify which broadband or mobile data supplier you are using.

No means to click off the ad. Had to close down MN.

No hacking involved ; your IP address is available to anyone who wants it, and this is how they know your data supplier.

I keep getting the Tiscali one. Is that even a thing anymore?

And here too. Popped up completely unexpectedly. Only way out is to close the tab after the redirect. Doing anything on the pop up screen creates the redirect.

Just happened to me when I clicked on active threads from the bottom shortcut. The pics are the pop up, the page, and then what happened when I clicked back. Couldn't get out of it though, had to close the tab. Moto x on android
