Is the app playing up seriously for anyone else?

I've just had to log in afresh and then been unceremoniously thrown out of it 6 or 7 times. (After logging in successfully.)

Am I the only one?

I managed to log back in but I'm getting the same issues as pp,duplicate posts & getting kicked out all the time

Add posts not showing to that list

Since yesterday evening there have been so many duplicate posts - very annoying

Crashing a LOT for me today too

I've logged back in but the app just keeps closing, it's virtually unusable.

iPhone app here, I stay logged in but the app just closes itself in the middle of slemthig interesting of course

Hey guys, thanks to your help we've fixed the main cause for duplicate/missing posts.

We're searching for the crash now, hopefully that shouldn't take too long to sort out. There's a bit of a delay getting these fixes onto your devices, because Apple require us to go through an approval process which can take a few days.

Short answer: we're getting there, thanks for your patience.

I keep getting thrown out of the app too, and duplicate posts. I also previously wrote a post on this thread but it hasn't appeared.

I think we've found where the crash was coming from, although I was only able to reproduce it once by doing this:

1. Bookmark a post
2. Exit the thread
3. Re-open the thread
4. Scroll down
5. Crash

Does this happen to anyone else? Our crash reports tell us this crash only happens to 1 in 50 people currently...

Mine keeps crashing and closing the app as well done this since new update automatically downloaded why I usually have it turned off

And that first of the two similar posts isn't what I wrote. It's deleted that - maybe temporarily - and substituted the second.

Oh Yes.

As long as people realise that what they see on the app may not be what ought to be there, though. Perhaps they should switch to the main or mobile site - if they can - for the duration?

It seems that that deletion and substitution was indeed temporary.

The app appears to be working for me now.

It took 2 hours for me to see my comment appear on this thread twice

Some of them seem to revert to normal after a short time and some of them seem to 'stick'.

Now the App is randomly closing down on me.

Can you move over to a browser site for a few days? It may be less wearisome for you.
