See all posts in a thread one one page

Can someone remind me how to set this up so that I can see all the posts on one page? I did have it set but I can't remember how it is done.

Just checked my customise and it still allows 500 and 1000 thank God! they tried to sneak this one in a while ago and it caused uproar so they reinstated it before. Maybe if you all stamp your feet hard enough they.might do the same?

Glad it still works for some users. Unfortunately, mine only allows 100 maximum.

Mines set to 100 max. Please change it back ASAP as it's making this site pretty unusable (and I've been a member since 2001)

I have just come to say help help too. I just missed a whole load of posts to our gcses support trhread because of stupid pages. I hate pages. Bring back one long thread please.

Yes, I thought it was me. I've just posted a couple of things on what I thought were very short threads, only to find after posting that they actually have 7 pages, rendering what I've said completely irrelevant as the thread has moved on ages ago.
This is probably one of them. Maybe I'll press post and find a page of apologies from MNHQ!

I've clicked "show 100 posts" over and over as that seems to be the best available option. Every single time I go on a new thread it's back to pages again.

Where do I find the customise bit? I changed mine to show all years ago so can't remember how to do I again (if I can!)

on the left hand side, just next to talk, there is a little arrow you can click on.

Please can this be changed back. I have had the single page for years and detest the maximum of 100 per page.

I am hoping that they are busy changing whatever settings they need to change to get rid of the current page settings and reverting back to the single page.

Maybe if we 'break' a rule they will appear?

Please just bring it back, the site is unusable without the show all messages feature!

I've checked my customise and it won't let me change it to more than 100 either.

Seriously. I thought changing most active to trending was bad but that was nothing compared to this!!

I was able to customise mine to show 1000 messages and I've only been on here since last year.

I was able to see 1000 messages.....until I checked after reading this thread tonight....now I can only see 100!!!

Please can we have the 'see all posts' option back again?

I seem to recall this happening once before. Something about the servers not being able to manage to load so many posts all in one go quickly enough. Loads of us stropped about it, and they conceded. What makes them think we've changed our minds about it? I like being able to scroll through a whole thread easily. It's a right pain to have to keep loading each page.

If the servers are a problem, why can't the threads' I'm on' just not go back to my last comment? And stop all the clagging with 'place marking'?

Just got back to UK to find you've been farting about with MN again. Stop it and put it back to 1000 messages per page NOW. I've been here since 2008 and have seen you come up with quite a lot of daft ideas, as well as loads of good ones of course. However this one is well up there with the silliest.

I have complained loudly, bitterly and at great length about this ever since I lost my 1000 post pages when I re-registered after Jeffery. I've been roundly ignored by hq. I certainly post a lot less on MN than I used to.

Oh here we go again. Another fucking change designed to piss people off. Woohoo.

What was WRONG with having the option to have all 1000 posts on one page?? it's an OPTION that worked very well for people who don't use the sodding app, or who, y'know, like to be able to search through an entire thread at one go rather than having to stop and go to the next page each time.

This SUCKS.
