That warning about rats!!

Seriously?

Hasn't this gone a bit far now? A warning because of a picture of a rat?

I can't get my head around a poster actually reporting that. How many reports do you need before you decide to add a warning?

What happens if 20 posters tell you they're scared of something do you just add a warning?

I'm actually agog

They should be thankful I didn't post a pic of fat Raj. He's a big monster. But he's such a sweetheart

It's not just the trousers, waterproof trousers are even worse. Sad

homeiswheretheginis · 14/05/2016 20:30

Hahaha I was just about to start a thread on this myself. Lunacy.

Palomb · 14/05/2016 20:32

They don't go about their days like the rest of us they sit on the internet being scared of things and looking for stuff to whinge about.

They should just be laughed at like they would in the real world.

Scared of the picture of a rat FFS. Have a fucking word.

TheChippendenSpook · 14/05/2016 20:44

My two are superheroes (called Flash and Batman) and you've just reminded me that they need their nightly run around soon :-)

MissBeaHaving · 14/05/2016 21:11

Really ?!?!?
It's getting beyond!

I tell you one thing though, the post about those M&S shity coloured leather efforts needed a warning,I was taken completely unawares with that post!

I have a serious issue with cockroaches. To the extent that i have had to have a serious word with myself or it affects my holiday planning and I have to leave displays in the Natural History Museum.

But I don't expect MN to carry warnings about cockroaches, I am depressed at the number of people shrieking and tinkling about various bugs and slaughtering anything that moves. FFS if we all lived in the developing world we couldn't afford for women, grown women, to be so shrieky.

Just stop it, everyone.

(I know people can't just stop phobias , but where do they come from? Can we encourage each other to get help, rather than mass sisterly shriek ins?)

Sallystyle · 14/05/2016 23:55

It's really stupid and I think it's treating us like a bunch of children and I'm surprised MNHQ panders to it.

I have never seen such a stupid warning before. Some people are scared of rats, well I'm scared of a lot of things that people post about daily, but I get on with it and close the thread because I'm not a precious snowflake that needs protecting from the internet.
