Anyone else finding it hard to read?

I love it. It doesn't hurt my eyes. Its clear and simple. Love it.

Or maybe it's Condensed Light. Whatever it is, it's not good in this usage - I think they have darkened it/thickened it up since I saw it earlier - I could hardly read Threads I'm On - but it's not solved the basic problem of being a poor choice typeface.

By the way I'm on an apple mac 21.5 inch monitor.

I can't read it very well. It's too faint and squashed. Even zoomed it looks wrong, and then I have to keep scrolling the pages along and back! Though I need a bit of a trigger at the moment to get me off using MN as I'm wasting too much time here - have a feeling this could be it :(

I think it looks more elegant BUT it's harder to read. As pp say, too faint. I've zoomed in and it's better (Ctrl 0 will take it back to normal size on laptop, in case you don't know that shortcut) but it needs to be a touch darker imo.

Hate it, fortunately hasn't changed on phone (yet) so using that instead

I like the font. What I don't like (desktop, Chrome) is the fact the font size seems to change from looking at Active Conversations (nice and large and clear) to looking at an actual thread (much smaller). My eyes keep having to make an adjustment and it throws me every time.

I've had to set my font size to 125% in order to be able to read it a little more comfortably.

I really don't like it. The letters look squashed together. I find it really hard to read.

Which font is it, does anyone know? I think it's Tahoma and Helvetica which are recommended for websites, no idea if this is one of them?

For me it looks like the standard Kindle font, I'll get used to it!

Like the clearer layout but the font size and darkness is a nightmare. It appears as different sizes on my screen depending on which page I'm on... "threads I'm on" being the tiniest.

I can't keep switching between 110% and 125% depending on which screen I'm on - it's bonkers!

I know I'm getting on a bit but except for when I'm tired I don;t have this problem on any other website.

I mentioned on Justine's thread also - but reading the posts makes me feel kinda car-sick...
It's making my eyes feel all weird and is slightly headache inducing.

I really like the new look.

I like the font but the kerning (space between characters) is all wrong, it's too narrow. It looks good on the AC page, so maybe keep it there and just change the body text? Really hurts my eyes.

At 110% on individual threads it's fin (so please just make the font 110% on threads bigger!)

On the list of threads I'm on it's tiny. the (different) font with the number of messages shows bizarrely as almost twice as big. It's odd so that the first thing you notice is the number of replies to a message.

i dont like it, i dont feel like theres as much contrast, so its harder on my eyes
