So who were they then? Recently deleted troll thread.

There is a thread which has just been deleted where the OP admitted to being a troll and soon after the thread was zapped.

However the poster had a long back history of posts.
What I want to know, and I think it is important for us all to know, is whether this person had a long running posting history but got bored and then decided to 'come out' as a troll. Or if they had hacked into an existing account.
If they had built up this long posting history why did they bother?
If they hacked an account we need to know.

But now what, do all her threads get deleted?

UnderTheGreenwoodTree · 23/11/2015 23:24

That is funny - nobody noticed she was a troll so she admitted it. Ultimate trolling (fail).

The other one tonight was the woman whose DH beat up her son for sending naked pics to girls Hmm

Total trollery - but people seemed sucked in. The Mosque/drugs/armed robbery references raised a flag for me - and the 9 dc. Gah - don't think anything's actually real on here anymore.

Oops missed the middle pages of the thread - see that TrollyMcTroll has already been mentioned Blush

Hi all - apologies for the delayed response. Just to assure you all that this wasn't a hacked account but was a bog-standard troll. We're afraid we're not entirely sure about their more unusual tactics.

NorksAreMessy · 26/11/2015 13:43

but...but...but....

all her previous posts, mostly completely innocuous, are still there . Is that standard? This is all MAD, MAD I tell you!

(I am strangely over-invested in this)

Is a poster like that allowed to continue posting or does this earn them a ban?

MaisieDotes · 26/11/2015 14:56

Was purdiepie outed as a troll? She was on my antenatal thread.

There's a rather ironic one coming up on A/s where she accuses someone of having joined the site just to start a goady thread. Maybe if she'd have done the same she wouldn't have had to jump up and down going "hello! hello! troll here!"

What a saddo.

I think that troll's posts should stay, but HQ should put big flashing lights on them saying "this was a saddo troll" and we could all point and laugh.

reni2 · 26/11/2015 15:07

Or have a troll emoticon only HQ can use that automatically goes on every post an outed troll ever made, incl under different names Grin

GruntledOne · 26/11/2015 15:10

There's one who keeps coming back under different names when she gets banned but who also posts quite normal comments on other threads. The trouble is that it is those comments that out her, a fact she doesn't seem to twig.

Pipbin · 26/11/2015 21:12

Well thank you for explaining that it wasn't a hack.

I just don't understand the completely ordinary posting history up to then.
