I'm thinking that it will cost a bit to get the security on here sorted properly following all this bollocks, and I for one would be quite willing to pay a sub or just a one off donation in order to keep MN going - I know you don't need us to but if those of us who could, chipped in, it might make a difference?

Sorry if this is inappropriate. Thanks to all of you at HQ for the work you are doing. I can't imagine life without MN and though I realise not everyone is in a position to do this it would be worth every penny to me.

Koalifications

I have emailed mumsnet about that as it appeared on 'threads I'm on' but is now deleted so I have no idea what was posted. I suspected someone/the hacker was using my account but I haven't received a reply from MNHQ. Was it very bad?

Yes, I think I'm on my 4th new password in two days. Thankfully I don't use the same passwords across sites.

Not as bad as some hacks, but certainly not something you would want people to think you posted. I can't remember it all, but it was mainly some unpleasant stereotypes about black people. It was deleted quite quickly so I don't think many posters saw it.
