Cleaning up the royal threads

trufflesnout · 02/05/2015 11:30

Would it be possible to move all the royal threads into the royal section? And then put a banner up telling people to go to the royal section. There are currently at least 4 threads going just in _chat.

Ah yes Maryz-very true. Grin

Behooven · 04/05/2015 14:21

I quite like the initial royal baby chat but it's kind of over now.

Time to get on with a seasonal 'cat poo in my garden' or similar instead.

Sparklingbrook · 04/05/2015 14:25

YY I have voted by post and the baby has been born.

NEXT!

FeckoffandDie · 04/05/2015 14:28

I do think we need a topic cull and a harsher approach to requests for new ones.

Weight lifting? How many people actually use that enough to make it deserving of its own bedroom?

There are FAR too many.

Sparklingbrook · 04/05/2015 14:38

MNHQ think the worst is over with the Royal threads. They haven't announced a name yet. There will be gushing/criticism for days.

Sparklingbrook · 04/05/2015 15:09

Charlotte Elizabeth Diana

NEXT!

AuntieStella · 04/05/2015 15:10

ITV have published a name, but there hasn't been an official announcement: www.itv.com/news/update/2015-05-04/princess-of-cambridge-named-charlotte-elizabeth-diana/

Yes, ther's a new thread about it. Hope that's it. Not dozens more.

Koalafications · 04/05/2015 18:14

Please MNHQ?

Pretty please?

It's getting really tedious now... Sad

Koalafications · 04/05/2015 18:19

Oh and if you could also move the endless bloody "who should I vote for?" "Am I being unreasonable to vote for the Tories to stop UKIP?" to the 'Politics' topic that would make me very happy.

I can then hide that topic and escape this shite. [grumpy]

Sparklingbrook · 04/05/2015 18:22

Hello Koala I haven't seen you on a thread lately where we have done a Hmm in unison. Sad Grin

Once the election is done and dusted what's next for MN to debate/argue about I wonder?

trufflesnout · 04/05/2015 18:30

Cat shit, probably.

OP posts:
Koalafications · 04/05/2015 18:39

Hello Sparkling, no we haven't Grin

Agree, it will be back to cat shit, bashing people on benefits and P&C parking spaces. I almost feel nostalgic about those threads...

Sparklingbrook · 04/05/2015 18:52

I have made a pact with myself to hide any cat poo threads straight away, before the loons arrive ditto P&C parking. I am done with them.

AuntieStella · 04/05/2015 18:55

"Once the election is done and dusted what's next for MN to debate/argue about I wonder?"

If you mean just the polling, then right next will be days of coalition/pact negotiations.

Sparklingbrook · 04/05/2015 18:58

I meant the polling and everything else. A week should do it.

Koalafications · 04/05/2015 18:59

Sad yes, you are right AuntieStella

Koalafications · 04/05/2015 19:00

I thought it would be safe after 7th May... Sad I really did.

Sparklingbrook · 04/05/2015 19:07

DS1 is doing his GCSEs my fuse will be very short. I will probably be found effing and jeffing all over MN, offend everybody and be banned by June.
