I have customised my setting so that the OP is always coloured green, my own posts are pink and Mumsnet posts are blue.

Today I've noticed that the odd post here and there is grey. Is there a reason for this?

OP posts:

Me too and it's also Oddfod for me.
I highlight OP in green and I'm getting randoms in pale blue/grey.
What's going on HQ?
We're special , the chosen ones for something. Yes?

Or we're being used as part of an experiment - in a 'what colour is this dress' way. :)

Bogeyface · 02/03/2015 18:13

Oddfod here too.

Came here to ask about this and was relieved to see this thread, I thought it might just be me it usually is!

Dawndonnaagain · 02/03/2015 18:28

I too came looking for information.
Oddfod is grey for me. Safari, Mac desktop.

OrinocoTheWomble · 02/03/2015 18:28

Only Oddod on first page is showing grey to me. It's weird.

OrinocoTheWomble · 02/03/2015 18:29

Sorry OddFodd

is grey for me.

Main desktop site on Chrome if that helps.

YetAnotherHelenMumsnet · 02/03/2015 18:43

Hi all,
Very sorry about this, it's a glitch and Tech is trying to fix it, although it will likely be tomorrow at this stage. We think he's been sent round the twist by spending too long trying to work out if that dress is white and gold or navy and black. (Ans. It's white and gold and there is NOTHING wrong with our eyes.)

Tokelau · 02/03/2015 18:54

No it's not, it's blue and black. Grin

Oddfod is grey for me too, and other random posts on other threads.

AliceLidl · 02/03/2015 19:09

It has to be white and gold, otherwise my dog is really blue and black.

Totally forgotten why I'm here now Something about Tech turning fifty shades of grey?

catsrus · 02/03/2015 21:34

"a glitch!" GLITCH? but what does it MEAN helenMumsnet? why is it happening? what is causing it? who is being targetted? what do they have in common? I've been trying to work out what mathematical sequences are underpinning it and slowly going mad ... reminds me of the old 11 Plus revision books we used to get from Woolworth with strange shapes and you had to identify the odd one out.... there must be a REASON why these posters are turning grey....

differentnameforthis · 03/03/2015 02:34

OddFodd your post is showing as pink for me!

mammuzzamia · 03/03/2015 05:27

My random posts are coloured the same as the OP, so that I wondered if they were sockpuppets Grin
