Random posts are showing as a grey colour

I have customised my setting so that the OP is always coloured green, my own posts are pink and Mumsnet posts are blue.

Today I've noticed that the odd post here and there is grey. Is there a reason for this?

Just came back to say that I was tempted to carry on posting until I went grey Grin

Me too! I thought at first it was to bookmark the last post you've read but when I clicked on this thread OddFodd's at Mon 02-Mar-15 15:53:16 is grey even though I can see OwlBeGoing's below that.

I just noted this on a thread. I too have set blue with my own posts in pink.
Now, odd grey ones are popping up.
