Those awful drop down pictures under the Mumsnet logo

I hate them. Over and over again they appear when I'm about to click on something else and I click just fractionally too late and find myself on the breastfeeding topic or something else which is of no interest to me at all any more, thank god. Can't you get rid of them? Apart from anything else I am sick to death of the images, which I have seen millions of times each now.

Was just thinking of this again today. They are incredibly irritating. Can't you modify the trigger for the menu to appear whilst awaiting this refresh?
