Quick q - Can I ask approx what proportion of clicks on active convos are on:

all topics
without chat
without buying/selling
without chat or buying/selling
unanswered threads

I am curious because I only ever click on all topics (or check the unanswereds in case anyone has been ignored etc.) and I would guess that a massive proportion of people do the same...

I am interested, though... do many users go for one of the other flavours (without chat / selling etc.) ?

I appreciate this will change shortly with the SN topic too...

Find new messages has various options. You can select just certain topics or all (and you can store a favourites list) then search either over a time span, since a certain time or since you last searched.

I'm not sure I believe in Cod.

No buying/selling here too. Although often I go for 'last hour' rather than active convos. I only found active convos during the great Australian active convo challenge.

zippi - I want that too. Without buying and selling but with sn - and I want the last 100 not 60. I usually alter it and save to favourites.

Given the number of people that don't/haven't noticed - all the with,without,include buttons - if there not now a risk that newcomers to MN, who may to wish the SN board will just click on 'all topics' and therefore not see the SN threads????

I use chat without buying/selling.

I always click without buying/selling, as I do not want to be tempted.

I wonder if it's feasible to let people customise which topics they want in active convos within the Your Registration area. It's getting a bit unwieldy up the top there!
